Now that we have left 2022 and entered 2023 we started new adventures, and ended others.
Our first adventure starts within an open book. In 2022 we joined de Retourboulevard with Mancave Mantique and it was not a smooth ride. With lots of hurdles to take by the board and many challenges. But also the start of the dynamic community of circular entrepreneurs. By the end of 2022 the former board announced that they would end their commitment on the 31st of December and that they were looking for replacements. And I am happy to announce that we have joined the executive board of Stichting Retourboulevard as of the first of January. With lots of challenges ahead, but with the strong community of circular entrepreneurs on board, the new board, formed by Paul Pelsmaeker and Mark van der Rest, we are confident we can expand the success of the Retourboulevard in the next three years.
But there is more...We also joined (as the first member!) the board of advisors of the new Stichting Music around the Fireplace. This initiative organizes every last Thursday of the month a session with the performance of three singer-songwriters. The last years it has grown a lot in exposure and has become an well known event for (international) singer-songwriters and listeners. By joining the board of advisors, we try support the young organization with the start and growth.
Even more...but not yet to be announced, there is more to come... A new community for health innovators and entrepreneurs. And a new platform for vintage lovers. Stay tuned for these developments...!
And with more to come...some things have to end too...
We have ended the brands Art to Ride and the Oldtimerschuur. Although both brands started out promising, to grow and maintain them required more (and specific) time than expected. For Art to Ride our link to the custom motorbike scene was crucial, but over the last 18 months this connection was lost, mostly due to COVID and the lack of events. Also, the collaboration of the two founders of Mancave Mantique dediced to split and go their own ways. The brand Mancave Mantique stays with us and Robert will continue with his own branding Roadtrip Vintage.
